Where to eat paella in Madrid?

Where to eat paella in Madrid?

paella valenciana

Here at Fooding Madrid we love paella, a lot (but really a lot). Paella and rices in general; in broth, sticky rice, dry rice… rice with seafood, rice with chicken and rabbit, rice with mushrooms… We love rice in all its forms!
So we were pleasantly surprised by the Centro Superior de Hostelería del Mediterráneo’s Ruta de la Paella initiative, now in its second year. Here’s what you need to know.

Participating restaurants are offering menus with a first course or appetizer, a second course, always be paella or rice, a dessert and a drink (water or wine). See each restaurant’s menu here.

From the 10th to the 26th of June.

How much?

The menus can cost anywhere from 25 to 40 euros. Check the price of each restaurant’s menu here.

There are 27 restaurants participating in this year’s event. So, we thought a map might help!

Which restaurant is closest to me? Which is in La Latina because I plan to spend Sunday there and would love to eat some paella? Check out the map and pick the one that works best for you!

Oh! And don’t forget to have fun… you know… FOOD AND FEELING 😉

* There are some other activities happening, like a raffle for 10 master classes for two at the Centro Superior de Hostelería de Mediterráneo (who wants to go raise your handddd… we do we do we do!!) and also a “Madrid’s Best Rice in Broth” contest.

Find all of this information and more on the II Ruta de la Paella website.

Let us know about your paella/rice experience by commenting below or tagging us in your pictures (#foodingmadrid). See you there!
