Sushita Cafe

Sushita Cafe is our current go-to for sushi. It’s an excellent option for a healthy meal whether you want to eat in or take out. They have three locations, all of which we hear are equally beautiful and delicious, and an extensive menu.

The one we usually visit is located 200 meters from metro Argüelles on the north side of Alberto Aguilera street. It’s got the cutest storefront and even a few tables on the street when the weather’s nice.

Truthfully, we prefer to be inside. Here’s why:

The restaurant:

This space is super stylish. It has beautiful blue, yellow and white tiled floors and modern furnishings with mostly white and warm wood tones.

There are two floors, with the second level being towards the back of the restaurant, which makes the front part, with its high ceilings, feel so open and airy.

Even the menus are adorable! They look like little fans set atop the prettiest plates.

What we tried:

Rollito de pato crujiente

Crunchy duck roll

We order these every time we go. They’re like spring rolls but with shredded duck meat inside. They come in orders of six with a tasty Peking sauce.

Spicy tuna roll

Have I mentioned that I’m not crazy about spicy food? Well, these weren’t too spicy. They had just the right amount of kick for me (non-spicy lover) and the others (spicy lovers) to enjoy.

Other things we’ve tried and have given us good Foodings:

Bao Bun pork belly

Ensalada de Quinoa (Quinoa salad)

Rollo salmon sin brasear (Salmon roll, not oven roasted)

California especial (Special California roll)

All the ingredient are super fresh, too. In fact, you can watch the chefs prep your sushi behind a glass partition on the main floor.
